Material & Craftsmanship

The Dorea desk is handcrafted from 100% natural Italian travertine, responsibly quarried and selected for its layered structure and warm mineral tones. Travertine forms through natural mineral deposits over thousands of years, creating stone with distinctive horizontal banding, subtle pores, and organic tonal depth.

Each piece is:

• Cut from solid travertine slabs

• Hand-shaped and honed for a soft matte finish

• Sealed for everyday residential use

This finishing process preserves the natural tactile character of the stone while ensuring durability for daily workspace use. Natural pits, tonal shifts, and mineral veining are inherent to travertine and are embraced as part of the material’s authentic beauty.

Production Lead Time

• Before fabrication begins, clients receive a technical mockup for approval, confirming dimensions and proportions.
