The Nordic Alyx Dining Table is a study in quiet architectural balance. A luminous Calacatta Gold marble top rests gracefully above a hand-fluted travertine pedestal base, bringing together two natural stones in a composition that feels both refined and grounded.

The marble surface reveals sweeping veins of soft gold and grey, creating movement and depth across the tabletop. Beneath it, the cylindrical travertine base is carefully carved with vertical fluting—introducing rhythm, texture, and a subtle play of light and shadow.

The contrast between the polished marble and the softly honed travertine base creates a harmonious dialogue between luxury and natural materiality. Sculptural yet restrained, Nordic Alyx is designed to anchor dining spaces with calm presence, making it an ideal centerpiece for Scandinavian, Japandi, contemporary, and modern architectural interiors.

Each table is individually crafted, allowing the natural character of the stone to guide the final result. Subtle shifts in veining, tone, and mineral movement ensure that every Nordic Alyx table is entirely unique.


Material & Craftsmanship

The Nordic Alyx table is crafted using two carefully selected natural stones sourced from Italy.


  • Tabletop: Solid Calacatta Gold marble, known for its bright white base and elegant gold veining. Each slab is individually selected for its natural movement and visual balance.

  • Base: Hand-carved Italian travertine pedestal featuring a fluted cylindrical design that introduces texture while maintaining architectural simplicity.


Both materials are hand-finished, honed, and sealed, providing durability for everyday residential dining use while preserving the natural beauty and tactile character of the stone. As with all natural stone, variations in veining, tonal shifts, and mineral formations are inherent and celebrated as part of the material’s authenticity.


Dimensions

All size options maintain the same proportions, fluted pedestal design, and edge profile. Only the diameter changes, allowing the table to scale naturally across different dining environments.


Standard

36" W × 36" D × 30" H Seats 2–4 people comfortably. Ideal for breakfast areas, apartments, or intimate dining spaces.


Premium

48" W × 48" D × 30" H Seats 4–6 people comfortably. A balanced size that works well in most dining rooms while maintaining a sculptural presence.


Gold

60" W × 60" D × 30" H Seats 6–8 people comfortably. A striking centerpiece suited for open dining areas and larger interiors.


Finish

  • Honed Marble Surface – soft matte finish that enhances the marble’s natural veining

  • Honed Travertine Base – textured architectural finish that highlights the fluted carving

  • All surfaces are sealed for dining use, offering protection while preserving the natural tactile quality of the stone.


Production Lead Time

  • All Mayze pieces are made to order.

  • Production lead time: 3–4 weeks

  • Before fabrication begins, a technical mockup will be provided for approval to confirm dimensions, proportions, and stone layout.

  • Once approved, the table enters production and full delivery coordination is arranged.
